I am an enigma. A perfect right hand middle man living safely supported on the edge. Complicatedly simple or simply complicated, that's for you to decide. I lose the games I play & win the ones I don't. I'm not here to play games. I'm here, there, everywhere. Often I like to feel as if I'm the world. Other times I want to melt into the scenery. I see myself as a familiar stranger standing along the street as life speeds by. I like strangers & love my friends. I laugh when people fall but offer a helping hand. I hate people but love working with the public. The Constitution is wrong, all men are not created equal; they should be. I believe that not everyone has the same opportunities; it's what you do with the ones that lay before you that determine who you become. I like to walk. Running is too fast; but some roses are meant to be seen & not smelled. Time is an illusion created by man. I’ll create it for those who are willing to do the same. Your birthday is important to me & hope mine is to you. I tend to give more than I receive. Respect & appreciation are key. Conversation is a gold mine; knowledge is wealth & power. My intelligence is my most prized possession, don't insult it.

Geesh

"First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out; Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out; Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me." ~Martin Niemoller
Geesh, it's been nearly a month. How in the world do I expect anyone to know what's going on if I don't keep you up to date. So it's July 13th... classes ended on the 8th. I'm not sure how I did. I think I did well but we'll see. Both classes proved harder than I originally thought. I was thinking both classes sounded easy and they're summer classes so they should be a breeze, wrong. The two big English projects that I had to do to complete the class I kept procrastinating on and then had to cram them both into the final week. One was a 16 page research paper and the other was 20 page documentary on a sub-culture, which included field working, interviews, research and a transcription. Thankfully and luckily both came out well. As for French - well - not much to say really, it just was.

A week or so ago I awoke to find my puppy on the floor with a puddle of blood around his lower half. =o( So we quickly took my puppy to the animal doctor. The cost was over $600 to find out what was wrong with my poochie. He received Vitamin K shots and some other stuff. We were given a few prescriptions for him. The doctor told us that if his gums got any whiter then we'd have to put him down. So for days it was a constant watch on his gum line. They started to get whiter but then began to regain their pink-fleshy color. He's doing much better than he was. There's no blood in his stool anymore and he's no longer coughing up blood but there still is blood in his urine sometimes. The doctor thinks he'll be ok, though.

Work is sucking up a storm as usual. They keep giving me a crap schedule. For instance the day they made me work til 7 am when I had class and in order to get to class on time I have to wake up at 730. So needless to say Dustin received no sleep then immediately after classes I had to be back at work. So it was over 48 hrs before I got any sleep. This week sucks as well. I'm on for 4 days and I host 3 of them so I'm not going to make any money. Then there is the fact that on Friday and Saturday (host days) I work 6pm-4am. I'm getting an awful lot of mid-nights. So much for a fair rotation. Judy's such a wench.

As for my love life, well - =o)
